  • Lifestyle Homes' 2006 in-fill project in Bend, Oregon, near Mirror Pond on the Deschutes River, won a Building A Better Bend Award, issued by the Central Oregon Realtors Association, for outstanding new construction on existing property.

  • Lifestyle Homes has featured several “active adult” home projects since 2000, show-casing customized single-level and 1 ½-story floor plans that address empty nesters’ needs.

  • Lifestyle Homes, as partner in Vale Woods, LLC, developed an environmentally challenging Beaverton subdivision, which featured 16 home sites in a protected, natural wetlands area that protected old growth fir trees.

  • Lifestyle Homes was a featured builder in the 1994 Street of Dreams at Marylhurst, in Lake Oswego.  Along with his father, they were the first father/son builders in the show’s long history with separate building companies.

  • Mike Arnett served at Frankel & Company, Inc., Chicago, as a marketing Account Manager from 1987-1991, where he developed the communication processes he uses today that foster Responsive Homebuilding.

  • Mike Arnett worked for his father’s company, Bear Construction Co., Beaverton, seasonally, as a Construction Supervisor from 1980-1985.
